Patricia 'Patsy' Mitchell

HAMPTON, S.C. - Pat passed away on Jan. 20, 2017, after a long battle of lung cancer. Pat was born in Dover, on May 12, 1958. She was the daughter to the late James H. Holleger, Sr. and Shirley A. Holleger, of Woodside.

Pat attended Caesar Rodney High School, followed by finishing up with her GED. Pat worked at Delaware State News for many years, followed by working at the Dover Army Navy Store until 2014. She enjoyed fishing, bird watching, reading, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. In her younger years, she enjoyed baking, poetry and played the accordion.

She was survived by her partner, Greg Stamas; a son, Kenneth W. Mitchell, Jr.; a daughter, Crystal S. Mitchell; four grandchildren, Christian Byrd, Mckenzie Mitchell, Brock Clough, Kadenz Mitchell; six brothers and sisters, James Holleger, Jr., Bonnie Pinder, Carrie Kimball, Michael Holleger, Richard Holleger, Edna Holleger; along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Calvary Assembly of God on Rt. 10 on Feb. 25, 2017, at 2 p.m.
