MILFORD - Patricia Ann Blessing, age 69, of Milford, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother went home to be with the Lord on November 15, 2013. Mrs. Blessing was born in Salem, N.J. and then moved with her family as a child to the Masten's Corner/Harrington area where she remained until after her high school graduation from Harrington High School. She then went on to attend college at Campbellsville College in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Mrs. Blessing's professional career encompassed over 40 years of serving in the workforce in capacities ranging from credit manager, executive secretary, and personnel administrator in companies such as Aeroquip, YA America, Eaton Corporation, and Purina, until her retirement in 2005 after her 14 years of service at Milford Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Blessing was a charter member of the Harrington Baptist Church and a member of the Independent Bible Fellowship Church in Harrington. Her firm faith guided her through a lifetime of Christian service in choir, children's ministry, and youth camps. She had a deep appreciation and love of music and was a tremendous seamstress who enjoyed sharing her handcrafted gifts with family and friends alike. She remained an active member of the Harrington High School Alumni Association. She was preceded in death by her father, C. Elbert Hackett. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Maurice E. Blessing; her mother, Ella Mae Hackett of Woodstown, N.J.; brother, Rev. Clarence E. Hackett and wife Joanne of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother, Dwight H. Hackett of Clayton; sister, Susan Hackett of Thomasville, N.C.; brother, Jan C. Hackett and wife Karen of Kelton, Pa.; son, Bryant L. Moxley and wife Lisa of Bluefield, Va.; son, W. David Moxley and wife Sheri of Portland, Ore.; son, Bentley G. Blessing of Houston; a daughter, Rhonda B. Kercheval and husband Brad of Bethlehem, Md.; grandchildren, Anna Moxley, Sarah Moxley, Joanna Moxley, Michelle Moxley, Garrett Blessing, Christopher Blessing, Cassidy Kercheval, Casey Kercheval, Connor Kercheval, and Caroline Ashley Kercheval; as well as multiple nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday, Nov. 18, 2013 at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford. Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013 at the Independent Bible Fellowship Church, 6797 Milford Harrington Hwy., Harrington. Interment will follow the services at the Milford Community Cemetery on Route 113. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to Baptist Mid-Missions Foundation, P.O.
