...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT FOR

SOUTHERN VENANGO, CENTRAL CLARION AND NORTHWESTERN JEFFERSON PA

COUNTIES...

At 707 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles south of Oil

City, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated with a history of producing up to 2 inch

diameter hail.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail

damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind

damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...

Franklin, Clarion, Brookville, Knox, Seneca, Strattanville,

Summerville, Limestone, Shippenville, Corsica, Kennerdell, Sigel,

Fryburg, Fisher, Clear Creek State Park and Cranberry Township.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure

and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing

dangerous hail and damaging winds.

Erie County in northwestern Pennsylvania...

Northern Crawford County in northwestern Pennsylvania...

* Until 845 PM EDT.

* At 708 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 7 miles west of Westfield to near Wattsburg to near

Girard, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...

Erie, Corry, Edinboro, North East, Union City, Girard, Cambridge

Springs, Waterford, Albion, Wattsburg, Canadohta Lake, Riceville,

Northwest Harborcreek, Lincolnville, Harborcreek, Lawrence Park,

Wesleyville, Lake City, Saegertown, and Conneautville.

building.
