... A LINE OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL CROSS THE I-88

CORRIDOR TO DELAWARE COUNTY NY AND NORTHEAST PA BETWEEN 8 PM AND

10 PM...

A line of strong to severe thunderstorms will move across areas

from the I-88 corridor to Binghamton and across most of northeast

PA between 8 pm and 10 pm. This line of storms has a history of

producing damaging winds with trees and power lines being blown

down. A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 10 PM

EDT.

The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

Western Lackawanna County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

Luzerne County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

Southern Bradford County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

Wyoming County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 845 PM EDT.

* At 758 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from near Lincoln Falls to Eyers Grove to Klingerstown,

moving east at 70 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...

Shickshinny, Mountain Mills, Glen Summit, Meshoppen, Orange,

Jenningsville, Miners Mills, Glendale, Nicholson, and Walls

Corners.
