Olive K. (Allen) Santa Anna, 82

DOVER - Olive K. (Allen) Santa Anna of Dover died Thursday, June 21, 2007, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 82.

She was born July 10, 1924, in Cisco, Texas, to the late Terry S. and Mary (Johnson) Allen.

Olive worked as a secretary at Randolph Air Field in Lubbock, Texas, where she met her husband, Hector "Jim" Santa Anna after World War II. They were happily married for 61 years until his death in December 2006.

She and Jim enjoyed traveling together and recently took a trip on the Queen Mary II to the Caribbean.

Olive was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed making her own clothes. She also enjoyed spending time with her five grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Willoughby of Crofton, Md., and Cynthia Abi-Habib of Beirut, Lebanon; two sisters, Kathleen Dickson of Taft, Calif., and Maxine Hansen of Lubbock; and five grandchildren, Alan Willoughby, Megan Willoughby, Natalie Abi-Habib Vaughan, George Abi-Habib and Maria Abi-Habib.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus St., Dover.

Burial will take place on Monday, July 16, at Arlington (Va.) National Cemetery.
