Workman Reed, 81 MILTON - NormaLee E. Workman Reed passed away Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at her daughter's home in Milton. NormaLee was born in Milford, daughter of the late Norman and Mirtas (Benson) Workman. She worked in the cafeteria at H.O. Brittingham Elementary School in Milton for over 27 years, retiring in 1991. During that time, she was also a school bus driver. NormaLee enjoyed puzzles and working in her yard. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her late husband, William T. Reed, Sr. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son: William T. "Tommy" Reed, Jr., and son-in-law: Thomas Bennett. She is survived by four children, Wayne Reed and wife Connie, of Lincoln, Diane Bennett, Joyce Spearman and Darlene Cronic and husband James, all of Milton; 12 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two sisters: Naomi Reed and Louise Parkhurst and half-brother: Norman Workman. A funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, with visitation after 12 p.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milton.
