Noble Kenneth Bradshaw

Noble Kenneth Bradshaw, 79 EAST NEW MARKET - Noble Kenneth "Kenny" Bradshaw, 79, assed away on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at his home. He was born at East New Market on Feb. 21, 1929 and was a son of the late David Franklin and Mary Della Porter Bradshaw. He graduated from Cambridge High School in 1947. Mr. Bradshaw served in the Army National Guard, the U. S. Navy and the U. S. Air Force where he retired in 1968 as a Tech Sergeant. While in the service he was a Weapons Maintenance Supervisor. He received the Air Force Good Conduct Medal with one Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal with one bronze service star, Air Force Longevity Service Award with three Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters and the Air Force Accommodation Medal. On Nov. 2, 1955 he married the former Sarah Ann Meyer. She passed away on Nov.29, 2004. Mr. Bradshaw was a member of the American Legion Post 91 and a lifetime member of Choptank Memorial Post 7460 VFW. He is survived by four sisters-in-laws, Esther R. Hurley of Salisbury, Amelia D. Henry of Cambridge, Bessie W. Neild and husband, Alton of Severna Park and Mary R. Moore and husband, Ernest of Richlands, Va.; two brothers-in-laws, Donald G. Meyer and wife, Norma of Laurel, Del. and Norman W. Meyer of Bridgeville, Del.; 17 cousins, numerous nephews and nieces. Besides his parents and his wife, Mr. Bradshaw was preceded in death by a brother, David Leon Bradshaw and several sisters-in-aws and brothers-in-laws. A funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 5401 White Hall Road, Cambridge with the Rev. Joan P. Evans officiating. Burial will follow at the Maryland Veterans' Cemetery near Hurlock. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers will be Randall Bradshaw, Thomas Mills, Carlton Bradshaw, Allan Bradshaw, Roy Bradshaw and Eddie Insley.
