CAMDEN - Nina M. Rhinehart, of Camden, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 in her home. She was 81. Nina grew up in Canton and Waynesville, N.C. She was the second child of the late Theodore and Sally (Holland) Rhinehart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Theodore Rhinehart. Nina came to Delaware in October 1993 and continued to live here until her death. In her younger years, Nina worked as an airline stewardess for Eastern Airlines. After that, she went to school and became a certified nursing assistant, and lovingly tended to patients who were in nursing homes, both in Delaware and North Carolina. Later she worked as a live-in, tending to members of many Delaware families. Nina loved to shop and was a very stylish dresser. She enjoyed gardening and crafts. She had a big collection of hummingbirds and angels. Nina was very good at crocheting, embroidery and needlepoint. She enjoyed attending church, and she loved giving gifts. She was extremely grateful for the help she received from Generations Homecare, Hospice, and also for her caregiver, David Hatfield, and others. Nina was blessed to have good friends Diane Collison, and Patricia and Bert Yossick, who provided companionship and loving support. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Visitation will be one hour prior.
