BRIDGEVILLE - Mrs. Nettie Carter Ballard passed away on Jan. 11, 2013 at Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford. She was born in Washington, DC. She was happily married to Danny D. Ballard. She is survived by one son; and three daughters; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A viewing and calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Jan. 15, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; 808 Fleetwood Drive; Seaford, DE 19973. A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2013. Friends may also call for viewing and visitation one hour prior to the service. Bishop Kent Elkington will officiate.
