MILFORD - Nellie Porter passed away on June 12, 2014 at Milford Memorial Hospital. She was born August 18, 1937 in Harrisburg, Pa. She enjoyed her life to the fullest with cooking and also crocheting. She took great pride in knowing that she had several Afghans in most of the countries in the world. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mildred and Harry McIntire; three sisters, Elizabeth Bailey, Edith Littleton, and Helen Black; two brothers, Harry "Sonny" McIntire and John W. Gray, Sr. She is survived by one son, Randall L. Porter; one sister, Virginia Wengerd; and one sister-in-law, Marsha Gray; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was affectionally known to all the kids that called her "Mom". Graveside services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood.
