Natalina Josephine Tringali Mozingo

Tringali Mozingo, 88 DOVER - Natalina Josephine Tringali Mozingo passed away on Friday Sept. 28, 2012 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Mozingo was born Nov. 25, 1923 in Baltimore, Md. to the late Luciano Tringali and Rose Carmento Tringali. She married her husband Harry in 1942. She had worked for Baltimore Paint as a secretary before she and her husband purchased a farm in Emmitsburg, Md. and turned it into a poultry farm raising layer hens and thoroughbred race horses. After selling the family farm in the early 1970's, Mrs. Mozingo eventually moved to Ocean Pines, Md. She loved traveling and traveled all around the world. She volunteered as a tour director for Worcester County AARP #1917 and her trips were legendary. In addition to traveling, Mrs. Mozingo enjoyed ceramics, playing bridge, mahjong, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of TOPS and the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin. While living in Ocean Pines she was a member of St. Lukes Catholic Church in Ocean City, Md. and attended Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry L. Mozingo in 1986; and her brothers, Pietro and Peter Joseph Tringali. She is survived by her sons, Harry B. Mozingo of Frederick, Md.; Dennis L. Mozingo and his wife Barbara of San Jose, Calif.; daughter, Trudean A. Davis and her fiance Bruce Morris of Dover, Del. with whom she resided; brother, Domenic Louis Tringali of Ellicott City, Md.; sister, Helen Minnie Jaworski of Fairfield, Pa.; grandchildren, Michael and Andrew Davis, Bruce Morris II, Kelly Schloer, Jason and Justin Mozingo, Damien Ramirez and Laura Scott; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; plus a large "adopted" family who considered her mom, mom mom and grandma. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening, Oct. 3, 2012 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover, with a remembrance service at 8 p.m. Additional services will be held in Maryland as follows; a viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday evening Oct. 4, 2012 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Md 21702. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday Oct. 5, 2012 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 8561 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville, Md., Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Flowers are welcomed but the family also suggests contributions be made to Heartland Hospice, 256 Chapman Road, The Oxford Building, Suite 102, Newark, DE 19702 or Holy Cross Catholic Church 631 S. State Street, Dover, DE 19901. Letters of condolence may be sent and the guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
