SALISBURY - Nancy L. Butler, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at Coastal Hospice At The Lake in Salisbury. Born in Pittsburg, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Graham Martin and Althea Anderson Martin. She was a graduate of the Nursing School at Shady Side Hospital and spent her career working as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Nancy also did work with the Lower Shore Volunteers and was a member of the AANA and Happy Timers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. M. Butler, who died in 2005; and a brother, Andrew Graham Martin III. She is survived by her three children, Kimberly L. Nicholas of Salisbury, Mitchell L. Butler of Salisbury and Peter L. Butler of Truckee, Calif.; two grandsons; and a brother, Donald L. Martin of North Carolina. A memorial service was held Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock.
