Nancy Ann Tyler

SMITH ISLAND - Nancy Ann Tyler, 74, of Rhodes Point, Smith Island, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury. Born in Crisfield, she was a daughter of the late Enos and Marie Evans. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary United Methodist Church on Rhodes Point. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lester Tyler of Rhodes Point; three children, Lester "Lecky" Tyler of Rhodes Point, Shelly Somers and her husband Eddie of Crisfield, and Brad Tyler and his wife Joy of Shelltown; two grandsons, Justin and Alex Somers; and a sister, Phyllis Miley and her husband Jerry of Crisfield. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011, at Calvary United Methodist Church on Rhodes Point. The Rev. Rick Edmund will officiate. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m., at the church. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be sent to Calvary U. M.
