Sherman, 72 SEAFORD - Millicent C. "Millie" Sherman, of Seaford, died Monday, June 4, 2012 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, in Seaford. She was 72. Millie was born February 20, 1940 in Butler, Pa. the daughter of Raymond and Esther Miller Sherman. She was a member of Church of God Prophecy in Seaford. Millie enjoyed spending time with her family. Whether it was sitting around the kitchen table drinking Dunkin Donut's coffee, going to the store with her daughter, working outside in her yard or watching the new Twilight movie at the theater, she cherished every moment. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Roger Sherman; and three sisters, Betty Keel, Vivian Messick, and Amy Minton. She is survived by a daughter, Rose Roop of Federalsburg, Md.; a son, John Sherman of Seaford; one grandson, Rich Roop; one granddaughter, Ashley Taylor; a special niece, Tammy Taylor; two brothers, Richard and Robert Hayes; two sisters, Harriett Shoendorf and Marion Hudgins; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St., Greenwood, DE 19950. Interment will be private.
