HOUSTON - Mildred E. Wyatt passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mildred was born to the late Clarence and Hazel Postles . Mrs. Wyatt retired as a seamstress from the Aetna Shirt Factory and Milford Stitching. When she was not busy working, she loved to travel. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed working in her flower garden and mowing grass. Her most favorite activities were shopping and going out to eat. She will be remembered as very quiet and easy going. She did not get upset easily, patience was her virtue. She enjoyed being around her family and loved being a grandmother. Her family was her life, and she will always be remembered as a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Wyatt attended the Independent Bible Fellowship Church of Harrington. Preceded in death by her son Henry L. Wyatt; grandson Lester Wyatt; brothers Clarence, Roy, Bradford, and George Postles. Survived by her loving husband of 60 years Charles L. Wyatt of Houston; sons Charles A. Wyatt of Seaford, Robert B. Wyatt of Oxford, Pa.; daughter Norma Jean Trader of Houston; sister Marie Greenly of Harrington; mother in law Janette Fritz of Georgetown; sister in law Eileen Veasey of Georgetown; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. A service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington. Arrangements are by the Melvin Funeral Home, visit our website at
