Mildred Arlene Harvey

Harvey, 91 MILFORD - Mildred Arlene Harvey, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 in Frederica, Del. surrounded by extended family and friends. She was born February 12, 1921, in Lovell, Mass., the daughter of the late Florence E. and Frank Wade. She was previously employed as an EKG Pulmonary Function Technician at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital in Cape May Courthouse, N.J. She retired from her position there to marry H. Conard (Buck) Harvey in June of 1971. She moved to Milford from Cape May Courthouse, with her husband in 1986. She enjoyed traveling with her husband while camping and fishing throughout various locations namely Ocracoke, N.C. as one of her fondest memories. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband H. Conard (Buck) Harvey; a son, James Irwin Gallagher; and her former husband James D. Gallagher. She is survived by her sister, Anna M. Goodway of Cape May Courthouse, N.J.; two nephews, Jon Goodway, of Cape May Courthouse, N.J. and Richard Thomas of Mace Landing, N.J.; two step-sons, Robert Harvey, of Ga. and Thomas Harvey, of LaPorte City, Iowa; two step-daughters, Constance Sheda of Cortez, Fla.; and Susanne Dunn, of Ruttland, Vt. Arrangements were made by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford, Del. At her request, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205 New Castle, DE 19720.
