Michael Travis Blunt, 52
FELTON - Michael Travis Blunt, of Felton, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, and will be missed by all who truly loved him. He was 52.
Mr. Blunt was born on July 24, 1955, in Easton, Md., son of the late Noah Walton and Beulah Mildred (Hammond) Blunt.
He graduated from North Caroline High School in Denton, Md.
Mr. Blunt worked for several years with a construction company in Maryland and was employed for the last two years with Swift Floor Co. in Milford.
He enjoyed hunting, listening to bluegrass music and had a fondness for horses.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Blunt was preceded in death by two sisters, Nettie Buckle and Peggy Johnson.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Tammi L. and Jay Swartzentruber of Greenwood; seven grandchildren, J. Mark, Emily, Sara, Miles, Julie, Austin and Kadon Swartzentruber; three brothers, Kennard Blunt and John Blunt, both of Greensboro, Md., and Phillip Blunt of Ridgley, Md.; seven sisters, Louise Gardner, Grace Towers and Helen Lane, all of Ridgley, Florence McNatt of Smyrna, Virginia Buckle of Tennessee, Joan Chance of Clayton, and Cathy Taylor of Virginia; his companion of 12 and a half years, Jean K. Jarrell of Felton and her children, Rhonda Girard of Milford, Terry Jarrell of Mooresville, N.C., and Larry A. Jarrell Jr. of Lincoln and their children, and his "grandbabies," Karen and D.J. Tinley and Adam Kawalski.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, where friends may call one hour prior.
