WILMINGTON - Michael "Mike" Joseph Bright, Jr., 68, was born in Wilmington, and passed away peacefully on June 27, 2013, in Louisville, Ky., surrounded by his beloved children. He graduated from Salesianum School, the University of Delaware and attained an MBA from Loyola University of Maryland. He was an avid Phillies and Cowboys fan and enjoyed horse racing, movies & reading. After a long business career, Mike most recently was the owner of Dooley's Bagels & Deli in Louisville . Mike is survived by his daughters, Marlo Bright and partner Antoine Vann, Michelle Bright Heuring and husband Tim all of Rehoboth; son Michael J. Bright III of Louisville; sisters, Joanne Schneider and husband Charlie of Lewes; Mary Zuanich and husband Andy of Washington State and six nieces and nephews. A service was held Monday, July 1, 2013 at St. Albert the Great Church in Louisville, Ky.
