SEAFORD - Merle Leslie Whitt, of Seaford, died on December 8, 2013 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford. He was 55. Born in Ft. Bellvoir, Va., he was the son of Carole Dean Lovett Meloney of Seaford, and Milbourne Whitt of Salisbury, Md. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Linda Jeannette of Seaford; step-brothers, Bruce and Danny Meloney of Seaford and David Meloney of Florida; a step-sister, Linda Norsworthy of Seaford; and many friends. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday Jan. 4, 2014 at Cinnamon's Restaurant & Lounge (CC22) Bridgeville Hwy., Seaford, Del. Arrangements are in the care of Watson-Yates Funeral Home of Seaford, Delaware.
