Ritter, newborn GREENWOOD - McKenzie Joy Ritter began her brief time in this life at 8:42 p.m. on April 11, 2013 at Christiana Care Hospital. Just a few short hours later at 11:20 p.m., she was passed from the arms of her loving parents, Megan and Brandon Ritter of Greenwood, in to the eternal embrace of Jesus. Surrounded by family members, she experienced a lifetime of love in a precious few moments, leaving "joy" as her legacy in the hearts that she so deeply touched. Eagerly awaiting the day they are reunited with McKenzie in heaven are her grandparents, Roy and Kimberly Landis and Douglas and Robin Ritter; her aunt and uncles, Brooks and Jessica Ritter, Joshua Ritter, Andrew and Alan Landis; as well as two cousins, Hannah and Sophia Ritter. A service of celebration of her life will take place at Tressler Mennonite Church on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. Those wishing to call upon the family may do so between 2 and 3:30 p.m. Burial will immediately follow the ceremony at the Tressler Mennonite Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tressler Mennonite Church Mutual Aid Fund. Arrangements will be handled by Fleischauer Funeral Home in Greenwood.
