Marylu Joseph

MILTON - Marylu Joseph passed away on Sat., September 26, 2015 at Harbor Healthcare Center in Lewes. Marylu was born in Milford, daughter of the late Harold and Elizabeth (Reedy) Grossnickle. She had attended the University of Delaware and worked for ten years as a teacher's aide with the Cape Henlopen School District, retiring in 2002. Marylu was a member of Goshen U.M. Church. She enjoyed being active in church, playing tennis, shopping and dining out. She loved time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Marylu is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Joseph, Jr; and a daughter, Jill Joseph. She leaves behind three children, Jeff Joseph and wife Jennifer, of Rehoboth, Jennifer Hochrein and husband Erik, of Milton, and Jason Joseph and wife Dana, of Lewes; and 6 grandchildren: Kyle Joseph, Karalyn Joseph, Alec Hochrein, Brent Hochrein, Connor Hochrein and Declan Joseph. A funeral service will be held at Noon on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, with visitation after 11:00am. Interment will be in Goshen U.M. Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marylu's memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
