LAUREL - Mary S. Lee, 79, of Laurel, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 at home. Mary was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Llewellyn and Madeline (Hammond) Evans. She owned and operated Lee's Cafe with her late husband Harry in Aurora, Kansas for many years before retiring in 2002 due to illness. After retiring, Mary moved back to Delaware. She loved to read, traveling and camping, enjoyed going to the beach, cooking and canning. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry I. Lee; and two brothers, Richard Evans and Lou Evans. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Rastelli and his wife Judy, of Tacoma, Wash.; Sandra Williamson and her husband Chris, of Greenwood; Steve Lee and his wife Diane, of Newton, Kan.; Bessie Harwell and her husband David, of Huntsville, Ala.; and Travis Lee and his wife Dawn, of Camden; two sisters, Helena Behler, of Charlotte, N.C. and Sylvia Ann Switzer, of Orleans, Ind.; one sister-in-law, Betty Evans, of Lincoln; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Bay Road, Frederica.
