Mary (Parks) Russell, 60

MILLVILLE - Mary (Parks) Russell of Millville passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007, at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 60.

Ms. Russell was born May 24, 1947, in Cresson, Pa., daughter of the late William and Mary Parks.

She loved her family and many friends, and was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7234 and Moose Lodge 2204.

Ms. Russell worked in the medical field as an insurance billing and collections coordinator.

She was a member of St. Ann"s Catholic Church, Bethany Beach.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John Parks.

She is survived by her remaining brothers and sisters and their spouses, Albert and his wife, Kay of Margaretville, N.Y., Anita Burk and Daniel Parks, both of Cresson, Pa., Rose Marie and her husband, Joe Dolansky of Centerville, Va., Gerald Parks of Lewistown, Pa., Susie Ellis of Cresson, Pa., Sally and her husband, Joseph Horvath of Rehoboth Beach, Richard and his wife, Barbara of Erie, Pa., and Peter and his wife, Anne Parks of Lewistown, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ms. Russell will be buried in her hometown of Cresson.

Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Clarksville.

Instead of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, Southern Division, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947; or to St. Ann"s Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, P.O. Box 149, Bethany Beach, DE 19930.
