FELTON - Mary Louise Scott went to the arms of the Lord on Thursday, March 7, 2013 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born Sep. 6, 1937 in Kent County, Del. to William and Ruth Cain. She enjoyed sewing and was a member of the Star Hill AME Church, and belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star, Hattie S Blackwell #16 as well as Daughters of Isis-Fez Court 211; Rebekah Court #4 Herione of Jericho. A viewing for Mary will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Mt. Zion AME Church, 101 N Queen St, Dover, DE 19904 from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Services begin promptly at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Marydel, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to support Mary's church, Star Hill AME Church, or several of the programs and organizations that meant so much to her. Donations may be sent to Anthony Scott, 3321 Liberty Heights Avenue, 203, Baltimore, MD 21215. The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude and appreciation to everyone who has extended their heartfelt support, encouragement, and prayers throughout this emotionally difficult time.
