Mary E. (Mast) Yoder

HARTLY - Mary E. (Mast) Yoder, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, in her home. She was the daughter of Katie Mast and the late Eli, and was married to Henry E. Yoder, Nov. 25, 1959. Mrs. Yoder was a member of Old Order Amish Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, a granddaughter, a grandson, father, twin sister and a brother. Mrs. Yoder is survived by her husband, Henry E. Yoder; 10 children, Eli Yoder and his wife Salina (Mast), of Dover, Alvin Yoder and his wife Sylvia (Byler), of Hartly, Clara Yoder (deceased) was married to Leroy Miller, of Wyoming, Lydia Mae and her husband Any Miller, of Crab Orchard, Ky., Anna and her husband Rudy Byler, of Oblong, Ill., Elmer Yoder and his wife Barbara (Yoder), of Hartly, Emma Yoder and her husband David Byler, of Dover, Rufus Yoder and his wife Lena (Yoder), of Hartly, Ray Yoder and his wife Ellen Mae (Troyer), of Ewing, Ky., and Ervin Yoder and his wife Lori (Troyer), of Wyoming; 60 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; mother, Katie Mast; three brothers; and six sisters. Friends may call beginning today (Tuesday) afternoon at the family home, 351 Everett's Corner Road, Hartly. Services will be 9 a.m. Thursday at the residence of Eli Yoder, 1121 Victory Chapel Road, Dover. Burial will follow at Wileys Amish Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901; or the Hartly Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 28, Hartly, DE 19953.
