GEORGETOWN - Mary E. Dimes passed away at the Delaware Hospice center on Thursday March 7, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Alfred H. and Lois (Maddox) Baker. Mrs. Dimes was previously a machine operator for the DuPont Seaford plant. She enjoyed dancing, going to the movies, and picnics at the beach. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sons Graig and Tom Dimes. She is survived by her husband of 58 years David Myer Dimes; son Terry Dimes and his wife Reesa of Delmar; two grandchildren. A viewing will be held Wednesday March 13, 2013 in the Chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown from 10 to 11 am. A graveside service will immediately follow at Bridgeville Cemetery, 304 S. Main St., Bridgeville, DE 19933. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Mrs. Dime's memory to: Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way Milford, DE 19963.
