Marshall Lee Williams, 50

SALISBURY, Md. - Marshall Lee Williams of Salisbury departed this life Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007, in Jessup. He was 50.

Born on Jan. 6, 1957, he was the son of the late William L. "Billy" Batson and Dorothea L. Brinkley Marshall.

He attended Federalsburg Elementary and Colonel Richardson in Federalsburg. He later moved to Delaware and worked as a poultry catcher, where he was loved by all.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Cephas; and his twin brothers, Bernell Murphy and Darnell Murphy.

Marshall leaves to mourn him a daughter and a son-in-law, Dorothea Cephas and David Dickerson, of Federalsburg; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Geraldine Quailes Jenkins of Smyrna, Del., Annette and Cortez Butler of Mardela Springs, and Lisa Murphy of Federalsburg; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Dwight Horsey of Virginia, and William Jr. and Tonya Murphy of Salisbury; four grandchildren, Donshaena Jackson, David Dickerson IV and Diante Dickerson, all of Federalsburg, and Doniece Brown of Smyrna; four aunts, Mary A. Harmon of Felton, Del., Lenora Williams and Hazel Hutchins, both of East New Market, and Dorthy Hunt of Federalsburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His family and friends loved him, but God loved him best.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Full Gospel Church of God, 213 N. Third St., Denton, where friends may view two hours prior.

Interment will be in Federal Hill Cemetery, Federalsburg.

Arrangements by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Hurlock.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
