SMYRNA - Mark W. Tomasetti passed away suddenly on Sat., Nov. 14, 2015. He was born in Bluefield, W. Va. on Feb. 13, 1952, to the late Richard W.P. Tomasetti and Delores Gay Tomasetti. Mark was a senior operator at DelStar Technologies in Middletown. Mark was a beloved member of the community and was an active member at the Townsend Free Will Baptist Church. He was a member of the church's Praise Team, where he played the mandolin, banjo and guitar. He was an avid hunter and was blessed to enjoy the sport in the days preceding his death. He enjoyed cooking for friends and family, which lead him to win many chili cooking contests. He is preceded in death by his wife, Caroline S. Tomasetti. He is survived by four children, Jimmy (Kelly) Penix, Mark W. Tomasetti Jr., Michele (Donald) Spence, all of Smyrna and Richard (Donna) Tomasetti of Benton, Ark. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Josh, Cody, Cory, Lilly, Jordan, Dave, Oz, Matt, Robbie, Laura, and Melissa, seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Victoria (Robert) Stellfox and Denise Tomasetti; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Sat., Nov. 21st at 2 p.m. at Townsend Free Will Baptist Church, 4519 DuPont Highway, Townsend, DE 19734. Visitation will be from 1 – 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Townsend Free Will Baptist Church.
