MILFORD - On April 10, 2021, Marion V. Marvel peacefully passed away at her residence. She was born on November 15, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pa. to the late John and Marion.
Marion worked as a Cashier for many years at the Safeway in Milford and Georgetown.
Mrs. Marvel and her husband Walter ran Owens Station Sporting Clays for many years.
She enjoyed going shopping, out to lunch with her daughter, watching John Wayne and old westerns, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter D. Marvel; and her daughter, Linda Blyth.
Marion is survived by her children, Diane Lynch and Robert Sleva, Jr.; her grandchildren, Travis Fletcher, Linsey Thompson, Keith Fletcher, Jennifer Strickland, Greg Lynch, Jr., Alison Sleva, and Morgan Sleva; and 14 great grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Friday April 16, 2021 with a funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial is Milford Community Cemetery.
Flowers are accepted or donations may be given to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
