Milton - Marion A. Pepper died on May 7, 2014 after a long illness. She was a long-time resident of Milton. She was a graduate of Salisbury State Teachers College and received her Masters from Columbia University. She had a long career teaching, starting in Anne Arundel County in Maryland. She taught 5th grade in Seaford, then became Principal at H.O. Brittingham Elementary in Milton for many years and then moved on to the Cape District Office. After retiring she was active in many community events. She enjoyed square dancing, her many friendships in life, her travels to China, Japan and other places and continuing her education. She was predeceased by her step-son, Donald Pepper. She leaves her husband of 59 years, William D. Pepper; and two sisters, Florence Wooten of Salisbury, Md., and Kay Miller of Calif.; cousin, Peter Pranis of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, DE; where friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Shannan Wilcutts, Marion's great niece will be officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery,
