Marilyn Lorrain Harding

Harding, 67 DAGSBORO - Marilyn Lorrain Harding, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Del. Born on Sept. 6, 1945 in Prince Georges, Md. She was the daughter of the late, John and Margaret Kershaw Butler. She grew up in Mt. Rainer, Md. and began her career with Prepetual America Bank in Washington, DC. She married Kenny A. Harding on Nov. 23, 1984 and they resided in Crofton, Md. Marilyn later worked for Union Labor and Life Insurance Company as a purchasing agent and retired in 2003. They moved to the Delaware shore in 2002. She loved the beach and the lifestyle it offered her as she enjoyed making and selling jewelry, and listening to the Oldies but Goodies and spending time with her family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth A. Harding of Dagsboro, Del.; six children, Tina Burton of N. Y., Lisa Hunt of Fla., Carol Gay of Fla., Denise Mitchell of Centreville, Md., Evelyn Guarriello of Fla., and Keith Harding of Va.; a brother, Jack Kershaw; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great- grandchildren. A prayer service will be held at noon on Sept. 18, 2012 at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 408 South Liberty Street, Centreville, Md 21617, where family and friends are invited to visit an hour before.
