FELTON -- Marie E. Young, of Felton, died at home on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014. She is the daughter of the late Stewart and Marie (Cane) Tribbett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Young, Sr.; and a daughter, Anna Marie Tribbett. She enjoyed her family and loved taking care of all of them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked at AmericInn, in Harrington, as a housekeeper. Marie is survived by her four children, Charles Young, Jr., Paula Wright and husband Jerry, Ginny Howdershelt and Michael Pendexter and Holly; siblings, Francis Tribbett, Rosalie Dill, Brenda Snowden, James Tribbett and Dorothy Tribbett; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main Street, Felton, with visitation from 2 - 4 p.m. Interment will be private at Hopkins Cemetery.
