Margaret Thompson Marshall POQUOSON, Va. - Margaret Thompson Marshall, 84, a native of Savannah, Ga., and resident of Poquoson for 33 years, passed away at home Friday, Nov. 13, 2009. She was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church, Poquoson. Margaret will be loved and forever remembered as a beloved wife, mother, and most of all, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Ralph T. Marshall; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion J. Thompson; and two sisters, Mary Dukes and Marian Anderson. She is survived by a son, John G. Marshall and wife, Vivian P.; a daughter, Mary Marshall Saulman and husband, Ronald E.; five grandchildren, Andrea Liverman and husband, Todd, Billy Saulman and wife, Jennifer, Marcie Evans and husband, Chris, Daniel Marshall and Meredith Holland, and Brian Saulman and Mary Havens; and seven great-grandchildren. The family received friends Monday at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, immediately followed by a funeral service in the church sanctuary by Rev. Dr. Bill Wash. Burial followed at Veterans Memorial Gardens, Hampton.
