WILMINGTON - Margaret Theresa O'Dea of Lakeway, passed away Feb. 21st. "Marge" was born May 9th, 1921 in Hoboken, N.J. Her parents, William Baine and Lillian Vietheer gave her away in marriage on Aug. 30, 1940 to Daniel F. O'Dea. She is survived by two children and their spouses, Patricia and Paul Moroney of Naples, Fla. and Daniel and Liz O'Dea of Austin, Tx. Margaret leaves four grandchildren, Karry White, her husband, Jimmy, Tara Moroney, Bridget Moroney, Caitlin Aruffo and husband, Chris Aruffo. She also leaves two great-grandchildren, Brenden and Kyle White. Although always successful in sales, her family and faith were her greatest accomplishments. Margaret was so dignified by her first holy communion in 1928, she bequeathed the certificate. She led by faith combined with a glorious humor, which resulted in a hot dog eating contest every Fourth of July! The family wishes to extend grateful appreciation to the staff at the Summit at Lakeway. In addition, Heart to Heart Hospice of Austin was exceptional fulfilling Marge's needs both physical and spiritual. In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations for Heart-to-Heart Hospice, 7240 Chase Oaks Blvd., Plano, Texas 75025 or Texas Wounded Warriors, 4301 Fillbrook Lane, Tyler, Texas 75707. Dan and Liz would be honored to visit with family and friends Tuesday evening, February 25th at 7:00 at Weed-Corley-Fish on 411 RR 620 South, Lakeway, Texas. Mass will be held Wednesday morning, February 26th at Emmaus Catholic Church in Lakeway at 10:00 AM. The burial service will be that afternoon at the San Marcos City Cemetery in San Marcos at 2:00 p.m. Obituary and guestbook available online at www.wcfish.com
