Patterson LINCOLN - Margaret "Jeannie" Patterson, of Lincoln, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in her daughters home in Dover. She was 63. Jeannie was born November 14, 1950, in Easton, Maryland, to the Late, Joseph Deibel and Marbia(Prince) Powers. She had worked for over 20 years for I.L.C., in Frederica. Jeannie enjoyed playing cards, and playing Bingo. She liked crocheting, watching her movies and T.V. shows; and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Jeannie was preceded in death by her step-father, Frank Powers, Jr. and siblings, Linda Ashworth and Frank Powers, III. Margaret is survived by her 2 daughters, Christa Patterson & wife, Shaunacy Coverly, of Dover; and Theresa D'Andrea & husband, Louis, of Felton. Grandchildren, Stefan, Chelsea, and Louis D'Andrea, Jr.; 2 sisters, Frances Doherty, of Harrington and Mary Hibbitts, of New Castle; children that she raised as her own, Charles Potzer & wife, Ginger, of Felton, and Kimberly Carroll, of Harrington; her former husband and good friend, Carl "Doug" Patterson; numerous nieces and nephews, and many who affectionately referred to her as Mom. Funeral Services will be held 6 pm, Monday, March 10, 2014, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave. Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may view from 4 to 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the funeral home to help with expenses. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
