EASTON - Margaret Olive "Peggy" Seretto, 82, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007 at Talbot Hospice House, Easton.

Born on June 17, 1925 in Ilford, England, she was the daughter of the late Percy Graham Morris Lyman and Ethel Winifred Trader Pyman.

Peggy worked for The British Admiralty during World War II and met her future husband Ralph Seretto, U.S. Army of Arlington, Mass. at Victoria Station.

Following the War, she studied at Rhode Island School of Design, specializing in furniture restoration.

Peggy devoted most of her last 25 years in helping to raise her grandchildren.

Peggy was married for 57 years when her husband Ralph died in 2002.

Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Gary Strang of Easton; three grandsons, Gregory Strang of Easton, 2nd Lt. Derek Strang of USAF Laughlin AFB, Texas, Brice Strang of Easton and currently studying at Valley Forge Military Academy and a sister, Joan Packer of Barnham Sussex England.

Services and inurnment will be held privately at Holy Trinity Church Columbarium, Oxford.

Arrangements were handled by Mid Shore Cremation Center, Cambridge.
