Marc Coté joins Rossi Group to lead Dover office

DOVER — Marc Coté has joined Rossi Group, a woman-owned engineering and planning consultant firm, as director of planning and engineering.

Mr. Coté is managing Rossi Group’s new Dover office, overseeing business development and professional services in Delaware. Mr. Coté opened the Dover office earlier this month.

“We are thrilled to have Marc join the team and take the lead on our ventures in Delaware,” said Rita Ossiander, president of Rossi Group. “With Marc at the helm of this new office, we will continue to grow, strengthening our local presence and continuing our commitment to our Delaware clients.”

Mr. Coté brings over 30 years of experience in the transportation industry, serving in various roles at Delaware Department of Transportation. In his most recent role as DelDOT director of planning, he led a staff of over 60 employees in the administration of the Department’s comprehensive transportation planning, performance management, development coordination, and project prioritization.

“I am excited for the opportunity to help take Rossi Group to the next level,” said Mr. Coté. “Now that we have an office in Dover, we can roll up our sleeves and really focus on expanding our reach.”

Mr. Coté graduated from Lehigh University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. He has been a professional engineer for 27 years and is also a certified planner. He lives in Magnolia with his wife and has three children.
