LAUREL - A man suffered non-life threatening injuries after being shot at Bryan’s Bowling Center on Friday night at approximately 11:50, Laurel police spokesman Lt. Tyler Bryan said.

Police officers were initially dispatched to the bowling for a fight in progress, authorities said, but the incident was upgraded to a shots fired complaint before they arrived, authorities said.

Police determined that a large fight occurred inside the bar area of bowling alley and while attempting to disburse the crowd a single gunshot was fired from an unknown subject striking a man in the upper body. The man was transported to the TidalHealth Peninsula Regional Emergency Room, treated and released.

Police asked anyone with information to contact Det. Little at 302-875-2244 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
