DOVER - A 23-year-old Dover man suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a shooting incident Monday, Dover Police said.
Police initially received a call reporting a shooting in the unit block of Village Drive at approximately 3:57 p.m., according to spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid.
Officers responded and located the victim who had sustained a gun shot wound to his lower body, Cpl. Schmid said.
The man was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Detectives are working to obtain a suspect description at this time.
