DOVER - A 17-year-old male was arrested for a shooting which occurred April 27 on North Halsey Road, Dover police spokesman Sgt. Mark Hoffman said.

A warrant was obtained for the male’s arrest following the shooting, and he turned himself in to police Tuesday, Sgt. Hoffman said.

He was charged with reckless endangering (four counts), criminal mischief (two counts), and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He was arraigned at Kent County Family Court and was released to his mother on an $18,000 unsecured bond and GPS monitoring.

Police said an occupied home and a vehicle were damaged in the incident. Officers responded to the scene after a resident of the home reported hearing multiple gunshots at approximately 6:44 p.m.
