MAGNOLIA - A 15-year-old male was arrested for firearm and related charges after a shooting incident on Monday night, Delaware State Police said.
Authorities said that at approximately 8:26 p.m., troopers responded to Juanita Drive for a shots fired report. The ensuing investigation revealed that multiple gunshots were discharged from a vehicle at a residence.
The residence was occupied by three persons ages 38, 32, and 14, all of whom were not injured. The residence was struck several times and a suspect fled the area to an unknown destination.
Investigation determined that the juvenile was the suspect police said. On Wednesday, he was located in Dover and taken into custody without incident, police said.
The juvenile was charged with first-degree reckless endangering (three counts), possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by person prohibited, and criminal mischief. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 7 and committed to Stevenson House on $21,001 cash bond.
