MAGNOLIA — A 30-year-old Magnolia man was charged with felony offenses after a physical altercation with a female acquaintance Sunday, Delaware State Police spokeswoman Master Cpl. Heather Pepper said.
Authorities said Patrick Gassaway allegedly caused visible injuries to the woman, while three children were present, in a home on Crew Circle in Magnolia. The woman received treatment at a nearby hospital for her injuries, Cpl. Pepper said.
Troopers located Mr. Gassaway on Monday, and he was taken into custody. He was charged with aggravated menacing, strangulation, third-degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2, Rehoboth Beach, and released on a $9,500 unsecured bond.
