Maggie E. Early

SALISBURY - Maggie E. Early died Tues., Feb. 10, 2015, at Lakeside Assisted Living in Salisbury. Born in Aulander, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ada Mitchell Jenkins. She was an original member of Bayside Baptist Church in Virginia Beach. She worked in retail at various department stores in the Norfolk and Virginia Beach areas. She moved to Salisbury in 2005 to be near her son. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Roy Early; a son, Ellis Early; four brothers; and three sisters. She is survived by her son, Larry Early; three grandchildren; and an extended family, including many nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Mon., Feb. 16, 2015, at Bayside Baptist Church in Virginia Beach. Interment will be in Rosewood Memorial Park in Virginia Beach. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
