DOVER - Lucinda Davenport passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Lucinda was born April 6, 1956 in Dover to Purcell Durham, Sr. and Shirley Durham, and raised by her grandparents, Horace and Sara Durham. She was a manager at the Shore Stop in Cheswold for 20 years, and was a homemaker for the last several years. Lucinda enjoyed spending time with her family and spending time going shopping with her sister Tina and son Glenn and eating lunch at Olive Garden. Lucinda is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Henry "Hank" Davenport; her parents, Purcell and Shirley Durham; son, Glenn Lightcap; brothers, Duke Durham and George Durham; sisters, Tina Webster, Jo Ann Bachtel and Debbie Wheeler all of Dover. Funeral services will be held 12 P.M., Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 10-12. Interment will be in the Forest Grove Seventh-day Adventist Church Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Forest Grove SDA Church of Dover.
