Norwood Williams BELLTOWN - Lucille Irene Norwood Williams, age 82, of Belltown died Monday, April 2, 2012, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, after a brief illness. Irene was born May 13, 1929, to the late Ralph P. and Dora Martin Norwood, in Belltown. Irene was predeceased by her mother and father; and husband, Eugene E. (Bill) Williams. Irene retired in 2005 as a teacher from the former Rehoboth Day Care Center, after many years of service. Irene was a member of Israel United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, organist of the church since the age of 14 years old, Worship Comm, Care Team Charge Member, and foster Grandparent with Telamon Daycare Inc. Survivors include sons, Nathaniel Earl Williams of Dover, and Eugene E. Williams Millsboro; five daughters LeWanda W. Wright of Buffalo, N.Y., Betty M. Gooch of Milton, Evelyn R. Stanley of Seaford, I. Jeanette Peterson of Georgetown, and Alice M. Freeman Charlotte, N.C. A viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 6, 2012, at Israel United Methodist Church, 20254 Plantation Road, Lewes. Services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2012, at St. John Baptist Church, Mt. Joy Road, Millsboro. Friends may call at church two hours before service. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Servces.
