Hardee, 85 ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Lucille Hardee passed away on Nov. 14, 2012 in St. Petersburg. Lucille was born on Aug. 2, 1927 in Cambridge to Kestler and Lucille Spedden Webster at Cambridge Hospital. Lucille attended local schools, graduating from high school in 1944. She left Cambridge and attended nurses training at Church Home and Church Hospital in Baltimore and Johns Hopkins Hospital receiving her RN degree under a U.S. Army program to train more nurses for the war effort. In 1949 Lucille moved to St. Petersburg, Fla. along with her mother Lucille Webster and sister Emily Webster. Lucille was an RN for many years, working at St. Anthony's Hospital, Bay Pines Veterans' Hospital and the last being a supervisor of nurses in the ER at St. Petersburg General Hospital where she retired in 1989. Lucille married (Havey) Wesley Hardee in September of 1953 and just celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. They loved to travel the country and vacation at Sanibel Island, Fla. and the mountains of North Carolina. In addition to her husband, Wesley, she is survived by her sister, Emily Webster Wilbur; niece, Patricia Wilbur; nephew, Jon Wilbur (Necia) and their five children; nieces, Peggy Ann Webster-Farina, Emily Webster-Newcomb, Tina Gay Webster-Willis and nephews, Timothy Webster and William (Billy) Webster; she is also survived by her sister-in-law, Joan Webster, and cousins, Mary Emily Triplett, Bill Valiant, Steve Valiant, Calvin Spedden, Linda Yukna and Fay Webster Collins. She was preceded in death by her brother, William (Bill) Webster. Funeral services were held Nov. 20, 2012 at R. Lee Williams & Son Funeral Home and laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Fla.
