Lois Jane Rogers

MILTON - Lois Jane Rogers, of Milton, Del., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Del. She was born on Sept. 30, 1942 in Dover, Del., daughter of the late Leroy and Mary (McVey) Biddle. Mrs. Rogers loved boating with her husband Daniel and casting a rod whenever the fish were biting. She enjoyed dining out at local restaurants with her family and friends. When time permitted, Mrs. Rogers would curl up with a good book and read for hours. As a young woman, she was an accomplished seamstress, producing many beautiful pieces. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her two sons, Duane Rogers and Daniel Rogers, Jr.; and a daughter, Pamela Heisler. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Rogers, Sr.; a daughter, Madell Stark of Lewes, Del.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Loretta Brown of Townsend, Del.; and a brother, Robert Biddle of Milford, Del. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013 at 12:00 noon, at her daughter's residence. Memorial donations in Mrs. Roger's memory may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association - WEB, P.O. Box 78960, Phoenix, AZ 85062-8960.
