Lois Ann Connors

TOWNSEND - Lois Ann Connors, a homemaker, of Townsend, Del., died, Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012 at Governor Bacon Center, Delaware City, Delaware. She is the daughter of the late Ruben Cole, Sr. and Lillian Larimore Cole. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall in the Middletown, Townsend area for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Connors, Jr.; and three siblings, R. Francis Cole, Jr., James Cole, J. Allen Cole Sr., and David Cole Sr. She is survived by one sister, Shirley McDowell, of Newark; three brothers, Samuel Cole of Long Branch, N.J., Roland Cole Sr. of Munfordville, Ky., and John Smithson of Baltimore, Md.; also many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall, 173 Noxontown, Rd., Townsend, Delaware 19734. A gathering of family and friends will follow the service from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the VFW 5695 Summit Bridge Road, Townsend, DE 19734. The family request contributions to the Kingdom Hall at the above address. Interment will be in the family cemetery in Kentucky. Arrangements handled by Berry Short Funeral Home, Milford, DE.
