The Riders trailed 4-0 after the first quarter before out-scoring the Auks, 12-2, the rest of the way.
Brian Page netted a team-high six goals with James Cava adding three for CR (10-4), which won for the ninth time in their last 10 games. Zachary Davis had a goal and two assists with Jacob Stant making 10 saves against Archmere (10-3).
Milford 15, Polytech 8: Conor Christie netted five goals and a pair of assists to spark the Bucs.
Alex Herka (1 assist) and Jonathan Gaglione added three goals apiece while Landan Hajek (1 assist) had two. Ryan Frost made 13 saves.
Cape Henlopen 20, Appoquinimink 6: Gregory Boyce tallied seven goals and an assist as the Vikings (12-2) won their fourth game in a row.
Luke D’Ambrogi (3 g, 4 a), Gabriel Best (3 g, 2 a) and Jack Dennis (2 g) also sparked Cape, which jumped out to a 7-1 first-quarter lead. Baxter Travers and Sean Griffith combined for five saves.
Indian River 15, Sussex Central 3: The Indians raised their record to 10-4 with the victory.
Smyrna 13, St. Mark’s 0: The Eagles improved to 10-3 with the shutout win.
Girls’ lacrosse
Cape Henlopen 16, Ursuline 9: The Vikings built a 9-3 halftime advantage before finishing the regular season with a record of 15-0.
Caesar Rodney 18, Middletown 7: Graycie Bachman netted six goals and an assist as the Riders (9-6) won their regular-season finale.
Noelle Ruggiero had five goals and three assists with Lillian Ayers adding four goals and two assists — including the 150th of her career. Sarah Gates made 12 saves.
St. Andrews 13, Dover 11: The Cardinals took a 6-3 halftime lead before downing the Senators.
Riley McQuaide (1 assist) scored five goals for Dover with Ava Niebrzydowski (2 assists) and Madison Small both adding two. Regan Torbert made 15 saves for the Senators, who were out-shot, 29-28.
St. Mark’s 15, Smyrna 11: The Spartans out-scored the Eagles, 12-8, in the second half to pull away from a 3-3 tie.
Jessica Bergold netted five goals for Smyrna with Madison Graham and Megan Keller both scoring twice.
Softball
Dover 8, Delmar 7: The Senators used a seven-run third inning to take control before finishing the regular season with a record of 15-3.
Kaila Quick and Chelsea Johnson both had multiple hits for Dover, which won seven more games than it did last season.
Josie Hollamon and Autumn Boothe both homered for the Wildcats, who rallied for two runs in both the sixth and seventh before falling short. Hannah Davis and Madison Lemon both had multiple hits.
Cape Henlopen 8, Seaford 2: The Vikings posted the conference win over the Blue Jays.
Indian River 16, Sussex Central 2: The Indians downed the Golden Knights in a Henlopen Conference matchup.
St. Georges 12, Delmarva Christian 2: The Hawks led only 4-2 before scoring eight runs in the bottom of the sixth to end the contest.
Kandice Schlabach hit a first-inning homer for the Royals.
Baseball
Newark Charter 2, Polytech 0: Brett Callahan pitched a two-hitter with nine strikeouts for the Patriots.
Dylan Gros tossed a four-hitter with seven strikeouts for the Panthers with Austin Biddle and Robert Frazier contributing hits.
Cape Henlopen 18, Seaford 2: Parker Brown and Mason Carrow combined to pitch a five-inning three-hitter for the Vikings.
Eddie Joyce, Jackson Ostroski, Grant Evans and Matt Newcomb all contributed two hits to Cape’s total of 14 hits in the game.
Dylan Nibblett had a double and scored a run for the Blue Jays.
Girls’ soccer
Indian River 1, Delaware Military 0: Madison Tipton’s goal in the 68th minute lifted the Indians to the win.
Hanna Bird made three saves to record IR’s sixth shutout of the season. The Indians finished with advantages of 20-5 in shots and 7-2 in corner kicks.
College baseball
Hofstra 5, Delaware 4: The Blue Hens rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh before falling short in the CAA contest.
Jack Goan and Zach Lesher had two hits apiece and each scored a run for Delaware (8-11 CAA, 20-29 overall). Kevin Mohollen added a solo homer.
