Pennsylvania scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh for a 3-2 come-from-behind win in the championship game.

Cape/Georgetown had won five consecutive elimination games to reach the final. It would have had to beaten Pennsylvania twice on Wednesday if it had won the first game.

Pennsylvania finished the tournament 4-0. Cape/Georgetown was 6-2.

Jonathan Stokley provided both of the RBI for Cape-Georgetown who took the lead with a pair of runs in the sixth.

Camden-Wyoming fell to 1-2 in the East Regional and plays Maryland in the final game of pool play today at 5 p.m.

Will Lorentz led Camden-Wyoming with a pair of hits and three RBI on Wednesday. Cam Scaffedi also knocked in a run.

Short officially Wesley athletic director: Wesley president Robert E. Clark II announced on Wednesday the removal of the “interim” label on Tracey Short’s title officially naming her the Director of Athletics for Wesley College.

“Tracey’s leadership and dedication to our students, College, and community is unsurpassed,” stated President Clark. “Tracey is not only one of our longest standing coaches, but she is also one of the most recognizable and engaged educators on campus. We are excited to have Coach Short as our Director of Athletics and look forward to the successes that lie ahead under her leadership.”
